Scope of Work:
Project: Uber Boats by Thames Clipper
Delivery: In advance of the grand opening of the Barking waterway, Pro-Tar Surfacing we appointed by McLaughlin & Harvey to construct a new access to the jetty.
Firstly, we constructed a new footway, we then laid 340 tonnes of 32mm dense base, 160 tonnes of 20mm dense binder, 50 tonnes of Super Colour SMA6 Grey and 40 tonnes of 6mm dense surface course. All materials were supplied by Aggregate Industries; In addition to we re-white lined the carriage way and installed a new zebra crossing and 2 bus stops.
Outcome: Despite global supply issues with the Grey Super Colour we were able to deliver the project on time ready for the grand opening event.
